Liz Surbeck Biddle | PREMONITIONS/INTUITIONS

October 30 – November 29, 2014

Opening Reception: Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 6-9pm

In Premonitions/Intuitions, Biddle uses a photo sensitive process called cyanotype that produces an intense blue print. She adds red, black, and yellow acrylic paint to the blue print, along with hand cut stencils to create her paper pieces. Some of the works have small, colorful ceramic elements attached to the work itself, or mounted on the wall. In addition, there are several ceramic sculptures in saturated colors, minus the blue. These are biomorphic in nature and can be approached on all sides.
