Musician, Perla Cozzone, will be performing at the three-day Juicy Brooklyn Music and Art Festival at 270 Meserole, Brooklyn, New York. The event is hosted by the Exit Room, an art gallery and cultural space.
Perla Cozzone is a jazz and classical pianist from Rome, Italy. She completed her 10 year degree in classical piano early, at the age of 18. While completing this degree, she won several national and international piano competitions. Afterwards, she began exploring the jazz language and concomitantly at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome. She completed with a maximum score of 110, summa cum laude, and two additional master degrees in classical piano performance and jazz piano. While receiving her degree she worked as a private teacher, an independent performer, and a Music Arts teacher in specialized high schools. In the Fall of 2012 she relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where she studied at Berklee College of Music. She graduated in May of 2013 with excellent results. She is currently based in New York City, where she is performing with many artists and is involved in various jazz oriented projects.
