Here’s another perfect concert for holiday!

At Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church in Fort Greene, the String Orchestra of Brooklyn will be joined by the Brooklyn Art Song Society to present two stunning works for solo voices and string orchestra.

Brooklyn composer Jacob Cooper’s Stabat Mater Dolorosa, alongside the Pergolesi from which he interpreted his stunningly haunting and expressive work. After enjoying two beautiful works exploring the theme of maternal grief, you’ll definitely need that complimentary wine afterwards at the reception.
